Standard Warehouse Barcoding (Code 39)

Logistics fulfillment centres (like Amazon FBA, Flipkart Assured, or Meesho LDCs) mandate barcodes on every item packaging to prevent mixing inventories and track SKU-level returns accurately. Code 39 is the standard barcode format because it supports letters, digits, and basic characters natively, without relying on complex checksums.

How to Print Clean Barcodes:

  • Use Label Paper: Print on self-adhesive sticker sheets (such as 3-column pre-cut A4 sheets).
  • Verify Contrast: Ensure your printer toner is dark enough. Scanners depend on clear light/dark reflection contrast.
  • Scale Wisely: Keep the aspect ratio. Distorted bar widths can render barcodes unreadable.
